Gondi  (2026)

Launch of the Gondi translation in Bhopal on March 17, 2026

As part of Francophonie Week 2026 and the Year of The Little Prince, the Alliance Française of Bhopal, in partnership with Eklavya Publications, organized the official launch of the Gondi translation of The Little Prince—funded by our foundation—at the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya.

Two thousand copies of the translation were printed and will be distributed to Gond schools in Madhya Pradesh by the Eklavya Foundation and the Muskaan Association. The book features a foreword by the French Ambassador to India, Thierry Mathou.

The event was held before a large audience of 120 people, in the presence of the director of the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS) in Bhopal, the director of the Tribal Research Institute, the cultural attaché of the French Embassy, the translator, the proofreader, and the director of the Eklavya Foundation.
