This collection came into being in 1980. Today it is made out of 7769 distinct editions in 663 different languages and dialects. Each book contains the full and unabridged text. The number of languages and dialects mentioned is the official number agreed to with the Succession Antoine de Saint Exupéry. The transcripts, of which there are 33, are not taken into account.
